Vice President, Senior Biometric Insights Actuary, Global Data and Analytics, RGA UK Services Limited

Chris Falkous is Vice President and Senior Biometric Insights Actuary within RGA’s Global Data and Analytics department. His particular focus is on global mortality trends, and recent projects include developing data-driven insights on COVID-19, the mortality impacts of climate change, multistate modelling of mortality and morbidity incorporating expert judgement, and assessing mortality trends in extreme scenarios.  Prior to joining RGA in 2015, Chris was a senior consultant at Towers Watson, providing advice to the trustees and sponsoring employers of large defined benefit pension schemes. He was a Scheme Actuary and a member of the pensions practice’s specialist mortality group, leading the group’s work on future mortality improvements and disease-based modelling.  Chris received a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from the University of Oxford, and Master of Science (MSc) in operations research from George Washington University. He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA) in the U.K.
